MiiCoffee DF64V variable speed single dose coffee grinder is small but mighty. This grinder is suitable for both home use and business. The beautiful designed grinder uses CNC aluminum extensively. It covers all ranges of coffee beans, e.g. espresso, filter brewing and Turkish coffee. The grinder comes with Italian made DLC (Diamond-Like-Carbon) coated 64mm stainless steel flat burrs. DF64V delivers very low retention. The rubber bellow can be used to push air through the grinding chamber and ensure minimal retention of grounds. The magnetic design of exit chute helps achieve consistent grinds cross all ranges. 

Version Info

  • The current version is V2.0 This latest version comes with plasma Generator (aka Ionizer) and variable speed is updated from to 800 to 1800 rmps.
  • Previous versions:
    • V1.2 has a slow feeder is pre-installed.
    • V1.1 has the new control board. The new control board ramps up rpms when encountering the resistance during the motor start. This feature fixes the stall issue seen in the early production units.

Features and Specifications

  • Brushless DC Motor & Variable Speed Quiet but powerful brushless DC motor can adjust between 800 - 1800 RPM. It gives you the full range of controls on how coffee beans being ground. 
  • DLC Coated 64mm Flat Burrs DLC (Diamond-Like-Carbon) coated 64mm stainless steel flat burrs. It features a very low surface friction coefficient, self lubricating friction amplitude be formed on the surface with diamond structure and a high hardness. The adhesion of the coating is better. During the alignment of burrs the friction coefficient is small, the coating is not easy to peel off after the burrs are scratched. In addition the coating is a non-metallic element which can effectively reduce the electrostatic effect. The coffee grounds will not easy stick to burr surface and is easier to clean.
  • Plasma Generator (aka Ionizer) The exit chute is equipped with plasma generator (aka Ionizer). It reduces static to non-existent.
  • Anti-popcorn The integrated Anti-popcorn cover help increase grinding speed.
  • True Zero Retention <0.1 gram. Even without bellow this grinder reaches almost zero retention. Blow-out funnel, with lid to completely empty the dead space.
  • Stepless Adjustment. Stepless adjustment with a large dial with an setting from the fine to coarse

    I love it

    Things I don't like - nothing really. Supposed noisiness when grinding is a non-issue in my opinion, certainly nothing objectionable. It is heavy and solid. This particular one was a open-box returned item, but with a new warranty and really nothing to suggest it was anything but new really. It takes a while to dial it to whatever bean you are using but once you do you are set. The removeable spout which can be snapped to clear the chute along with the bellows feature results in virtually no retention when using RDT, and not bad without using the water spray. It is simple, compact, and frankly I love it. I use it almost exclusively for espresso at either 1200 or 1400 rpms with the standard burrs and see no need really to upgrade to the SSP burr set. I have used it once at the 90 grind setting to make drip brew for cold coffee and that worked great. For espresso, I use 19-25 but it depends on what beans I am using. Coming from a 12 year old Lelit conincal grinder with a ton of retention and a bean hopper, this is a pleasant switch for me. Thankful for the open box option.

    Great grinder

    Really upped my espresso game. I also like that you can use it for pour-overs and cold brews. My only complaint would be that the machine came with coffee grounds all over the machine.
