Why do we need to clean up the exit chute of DF64 II (gen 2)?
There are two main reasons. When grounds build up around the plasma generator probes performance of plasma generator will be degraded. To maintain its performance it's recommended to keep the two probes inside chute clean. Another reason is that grounds can build up inside the chute and eventually it will clog entirely. So you should clean up the chute from time to time.
