MiiCoffee DF54 single dose coffee grinder is entry level flat burr coffee grinder. It integrated the best elements from DF64 II but is made into a smaller package. The three seated position for the upper burr carrier integrated wave spring makes the grinding chamber absolutely stable. At the same time it achieves minimal retention at the new level. The exit chute is equipped with plasma generator (aka Ionizer) that reduces static to non-existent. DF54 comes with custom made stainless steel 54mm flat burrs that deliver a fluffy grind with minimal clumping and consistent particle size distribution. The integrated Anti-popcorn cover help increase grinding speed.

    • True Zero Retention <0.1 gram Even without bellow this grinder reaches almost zero retention. Blow-out funnel, with lid to completely empty the dead space.
    • Stepless Adjustment Redesigned dial is wrapped with chrome. The included metal indicator makes grind size so much easy to adjust. The adjustment is stepless. It can be dialed in for espresso with high precision.

      Great upgrade

      Using the grinder for several weeks now, I can confirm the hope I had, when I ordered it. Having used a commandante for several months until now, the DF54 makes life so much easier, it does what it claims, the brew quality for filter and espresso is top and the ease of use is wonderful. The only negative experience was the extra taxe I needed to pay to the german custom service. It might have been written in the order and I missed it so it could be a personal mistake. Just be aware that an extra 80€ will be added at the custom. Still a faire price for a very solide grinder, would buy again.

      Met my expectations

      The miiCoffee DF54 grinder met my needs and expectations. The grinder is a quality product and functions as described. On receiving it I checked and found burr alignment to be excellent and the static reducing deionizing system works well.
      The other features that pleased me were the clear plastic 58mm dosing cup and the silicone adapter for it. In fact, I am thinking of ordering these for my DF64 Gen1 grinder.
      Overall DF54 is an excellent and affordable coffee grinder.

      DF54 Great Grinder

      DF54 Grinder performs as advertised. No static. Low (max 0.1g) to no retention. Easy adjustment to dial in shots. Purchased cleaning brush from Miicoffee, cleans the chute out perfectly. Absolutely great partner to the Apex machine.. Achieved amazing espresso experience. Recommend highly.
