MiiCoffee DF54 single dose coffee grinder is entry level flat burr coffee grinder. It integrated the best elements from DF64 II but is made into a smaller package. The three seated position for the upper burr carrier integrated wave spring makes the grinding chamber absolutely stable. At the same time it achieves minimal retention at the new level. The exit chute is equipped with plasma generator (aka Ionizer) that reduces static to non-existent. DF54 comes with custom made stainless steel 54mm flat burrs that deliver a fluffy grind with minimal clumping and consistent particle size distribution. The integrated Anti-popcorn cover help increase grinding speed.

    • Stepless Adjustment Redesigned dial is wrapped with chrome. The included metal indicator makes grind size so much easy to adjust. The adjustment is stepless. It can be dialed in for espresso with high precision.

      Grinds great, once dialed in

      It took me a while to figure out how many turns of the dial it takes to bring the burrs down to "fine" (at least 1-2 full turns from original factory setting), so there were a couple of disappointing cups of muddy coffee before I got it figured out. Now, bliss. A quiet, efficient grinder with a "serious" sounds while it grinds, and it turns out great coffee on my Aeropress.

      I previously had a cheap conical burr grinder. This machine blows that one out of the water. It is way quieter and does a very efficient job of grinding. No complaints. 10 out of 10

      Far and away best value single dose grinder

      I've been looking for a long time to replace my Rancilio for use as espresso single dose grinder. The Rancilio is still great for larger grinds for French Press, etc., but unable to really make uniform grinds fine enough for my La Pavoni Europicolla. I looked at the DF64, Niche Zero, and several of the DEureka Mignon models, I decided to take a chance on the DF54 because I got a screaming deal from MiiCoffee at $256 out the door. The other grinders ranged from $400 to $800 and up. I couldn't be more pleased with the DF54. Its small footprint and quiet operation only enhance the terrific grind quality. There isn't much room for improvement with any of the more expensive grinders I looked at.

      Great Grinder!

      The DF54 is compact, consistent, and pleasant to use. It retains very little coffee and generates very little static.
