MiiCoffee DF54 single dose coffee grinder is entry level flat burr coffee grinder. It integrated the best elements from DF64 II but is made into a smaller package. The three seated position for the upper burr carrier integrated wave spring makes the grinding chamber absolutely stable. At the same time it achieves minimal retention at the new level. The exit chute is equipped with plasma generator (aka Ionizer) that reduces static to non-existent. DF54 comes with custom made stainless steel 54mm flat burrs that deliver a fluffy grind with minimal clumping and consistent particle size distribution. The integrated Anti-popcorn cover help increase grinding speed.

      Just some guy
      My first espresso grinder

Head and shoulders above my Mueller grinder it is augmenting for espresso. I not see why it's gotten such awesome reviews everywhere I looked.

It's quiet, consistent, and easy to operate.

      Very satisfied with this grinder.

The only knock on it is that my true zero point is about -3 (just above the F in fine).

      Don't buy this

Longer term review: I've had this grinder for about a year. It was great at first, but now clogs up every few days. To unclog, it's necessary to disassemble (unscrew the top) and carefully poke out grounds through the coffee chute. After half an hour of cleaning, it works for another few days. This is an extremely frustrating machine.

Please check the declumpers and make sure they are not bent. Please follow https://miicoffee.shop/blogs/gear-workshop/how-to-fix-the-clogging-issue-for-df54-coffee-grinder for details.

used it for a few weeks now...

pretty happy with this little grider after two weeks of daily use. I don't have too many issues with the static and grinds although I do have grinds end up on my coffee station just based on workflow issues. I don't really like the bellows but I do use them before grinding a new batch and after turning on the machine. I highly recommend you look at the videos as they cover a lot of info including understanding the grind size offset ... my only wish is that the grind size ring be calibrated in the factory when it is put on... but other than that the unit is pretty spot on... you can use a heat gun and remove/replace the ring... would be nice if you could buy the sticker just in case it breaks when replacing. as far as grind size and use... speed is not so bad considering the rest of my workflow is much more time consuming, and the sound is really not that bad... my wife watches tv in the same room I grind in and does not find it bothering... (frothing milk is louder). grind size is great ... I find the grinds to be pretty consistent and wonderful to use in espresso machine. I have not tried it yet in a drip or pour over.

I have not had any issues with grinding or having problems with the motor stopping but I always do a hot start. this is the newer model with the static plasma pins around the discharge chute and no running through it.

      Love my espresso grinder

Pre-ordered this little guy and waited for a long time. Started wondering if it would be worth the wait. It was. It is a very nice reasonable sized counter top grinder. The grind is beautiful and consistent. My espresso has come up another notch from the hand grinder that I was using previously. And my arms don’t get a workout first thing in the morning.

Terrible service, didn't receive my order

I still have not received my grinder. The order has been made march 21st. At that time it was back-ordered for a week. I shipment notification has been sent April first. Still have not received it. Requests to cancel the order and issue a refund have been declined.
