Nano Pro Scale now supports most fast USB-C charging blocks and is compatible with USB-C power delivery (PD) chargers. With these improvements Nano Pro Coffee Scale remains in the same dimension. It fits in your palm and most espresso machines. It gives split second readings with measurements up to 3 pounds, in 0.1-gram intervals. It includes a built-in timer that’s been optimized for espresso and pour-over coffee. This tiny Scale is equipped with high resolution LED screen and hidden touch control. Use it to weigh out your grounds and then activate the built-in timer to track your slow-but-steady spiral pour. It’s not just for coffee. You can use it to weigh out ingredients for sourdough, measure a perfect serving of almonds, and more. -2 stars for impossible charging

Great little scale but -2 stars because they have chosen to limit charging to 1 amp. It is 2024 and the port is USB C so that is good but I have literally no other devices that require such a low charge standard and have several years ago gotten rid of all those crappy old chargers. I can't even understand how an engineer who chose USB C as the port did something so dumb. Charge control circuits cost pennies at scale. Even the smart PD and IQ chargers are confused by the lack of power draw. (and yes the switch is on). Another mind numbingly ridiculous decision but at least it is documented is that you need to have the power switch on to charge it.

The price and size is right. I bought it for use with a new espresso machine. One I figured out how to use it, it records shot weight and time very well. Turning off and on, and taring are a little bit finicky

The instructions are confusing for timing espresso. The toggle will not change from drip to espresso and it times out very quickly. Unimpressed.
