DF54 comes with an indicator that cannot be moved. Most of the time the zero point doesn't match what the built-in indicator points. This 3d-printed indicator works around the limitation. It can be rotated to match the true zero point. 

This item is 3D printed with PLA CF (Carbon Fiber).

Fit is to tight but it does work

The fit is way to tight but it does the job. I have 2 of these now and plan on taking some fine sandpaper to one and loosen it up just a bit so it's easier to clean the burrs if needed. There is very little residual coffee left in the burrs after grinding so I don't expect to have to clean very often.
The indicator is well worth buying and does a much better job the the fixed indicator that came with the grinder.

Nice addition to Df53

Not necessary but helpful added feature. Be sure to remove popcorn ring prior to putting ring on. Popcorn ring can be returned to barrel once the ring is in place.
