So far so good!

Have only used for espresso so far and have had excellent results. Was concerned it might be too big of a footprint on the counter, but it won’t seem larger than any other grinder, especially since this doesn’t have a hopper. Haven’t done any modifications to the declumper and it’s still been great, especially if you don’t mind a little WDT prior to tamping. If you only want one grinder and still plan to do the occasional drip brew, this is the way to go.

Great grinder at a great price!

Great right out of the box, might consider upgrading burrs in the future but for now it does what I need it to. I grind for espresso, V60, Aeropress mostly and it changes between these settings and grinds equally well. Not ZERO but retention is very low as advertised; I'm not wasting a lot of coffee purging. My one complaint is that it is the MESSIEST grinder ever. Even though I spray the beans, the static is rediculous. i keep a little rechargable hand vacuum with brush behind it , but its an extra step that has nothing to do with coffee brewing and it makes me a little angry b4 1st cup. That is the only reason for minus one star. If it had a stainless dosing cup (closer to and tilted toward the spout) it would help a lot (with the static, asthetic, and my attitude). User experience is otherwise good, low noise level, relatively quick, hasnt clogged up on me yet. Great value - a lot of features for this price range.

Great grinder

Grinder's great for its value. Sure, it's not the best one out there; its flaws are pretty extensively covered in reviews (YouTube, Reddit). So do only purchase it with your eyes wide open. Service by MiiCoffee is great. Delivery was fast, and they answered by queries promptly. They even shared a picture over email regarding the burr alignment I had asked for (bought the additional burrs).

Soooooo much static

I am about 1 week in so far and a little disappointed. Grind quality seems ok, some fines / some boulders. Probably better than my previous $100 grinder but only slightly. Where I am struggling is with static buildup around the exit chute. I've started using the Ross Droplet Technique but still have coffee grounds raining down all over my coffee workstation every morning. Mine did not come with the little attachment to angle the dosing cup up closer to the chute which I think would also help. I am guessing I would not have had this issue with a Baratza Vario (the other grinder I was considering).

There are plenty of 3d printed custom parts that would angle the dosing cup. If you cannot find one please contact us and we will provide a solution for you.
