MiiCoffee DF54 single dose coffee grinder is entry level flat burr coffee grinder. It integrated the best elements from DF64 II but is made into a smaller package. The three seated position for the upper burr carrier integrated wave spring makes the grinding chamber absolutely stable. At the same time it achieves minimal retention at the new level. The exit chute is equipped with plasma generator (aka Ionizer) that reduces static to non-existent. DF54 comes with custom made stainless steel 54mm flat burrs that deliver a fluffy grind with minimal clumping and consistent particle size distribution. The integrated Anti-popcorn cover help increase grinding speed.

    • True Zero Retention <0.1 gram Even without bellow this grinder reaches almost zero retention. Blow-out funnel, with lid to completely empty the dead space.
    • Stepless Adjustment Redesigned dial is wrapped with chrome. The included metal indicator makes grind size so much easy to adjust. The adjustment is stepless. It can be dialed in for espresso with high precision.

      Works great. Metal body feels solid. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound of the machine. I thought it would be louder and higher pitched when compared to others in the price bracket. When the beans finish grinding, there’s an immediate change in sound from a crispy burrr to a smooth lower whirrr, which makes for a somewhat satisfying experience.

      Costed me an extra $104 for shipping (Had already payed $47) fees and broker fees to UPS

      Great for the price

      Great grinder.

      Small cons:
      - Everytime you adjust between settings, it isn't exactly the same grind size. I get big difference in result if I change settings and back but if I leave on the same setting each shot is consistent. I use various roast and beans from different roaster daily. Because of this, I find myself changing between beans less often which kind of defeat single dose grinder a bit.

      - The chute require cleaning often otherwise plasma won't work to remove static. Every 3-4 18g dose (more if it's dark roast)

      FYI Canadian buyers duty is 97$ (Currently there isn't many Canadian seller but I bit the bullet because I needed to replace my hand grinder after many years of abuse)
