MiiCoffee DF64 II (gen 2) single dose coffee grinder is complete re-design of the old populate DF64 grinder. It integrated the best elements from DF64V and DF83. The three seated position for the upper burr carrier integrated wave spring makes the grinding chamber absolutely stable. At the same time it achieves minimal retention at the new level. The exit chute is equipped with plasma generator (aka Ionizer) that reduces static to non-existent. DF64 II now comes with custom made stainless steel 64mm flat burrs that deliver a fluffy grind with minimal clumping and consistent particle size distribution. The integrated Anti-popcorn cover help increase grinding speed.

- The current version is V2.4 This version has a new inner chute design. The plasma generator probes wrap around the inner chute. The old version has probes inside the chute.

True Zero Retention <0.1 gram Even without bellow this grinder reaches almost zero retention. Blow-out funnel, with lid to completely empty the dead space.

II have been grinding coffee for nearly 18 years. Mostly using a good quality conical burr grinder. I bought a new conical burr grinder that was designed for Espresso, which is a good grinder, but not so much for espresso. I recently seen the DF54 being used and ordered one with stock burrs. I use it for espresso, pour over and a Breville brewer. More recently I ordered the DF64 and upgraded the burrs. I use this one mostly for pour overs with V60 and Chemex. I am doing espresso but not good at that yet. I took in-depth coffee classes last fall and did cupping for the first time and appreciating the complexity of flavors more and the body. These grinders can achieve very fine to course consistently. The low retention is how amazing these grinders are. A grinder one of the best things for good quality coffee, next would-be good water. I use a commercial grinder (not at home) as well that also uses flat burrs which are larger for higher volume. The burrs in the grinders for home are designed differently more for single dose, but I do sometimes grind using the DF64 for 60 grams (30 grams twice) and have no issues. I do recommend this grinder. When you look at the sizes between the two it only shows the DF64 being 2 inches taller, 2 inches larger around and 1/2 inch wider, so I was surprised it looks larger than expected. Even though the DF54 still fits under the kitchen cabinet just fine.
Grinds like a champ, easy, and consistent!
This grinder just feelt premium the second I picked it up off my porch with the weight. The grinder works very well, grinds the coffee fast, and I haven't had issues with static when I forget to WDT.
This tool is big, heavy and industrial grade. It grinds beans like nothing we’ve ever owned. The various grind settings make this an excellent addition to the total coffee experience. If you’re into grinding beans, this is your unit.
Coming from a much cheaper grinder, this really works wonders. I was very surprised with the 0 retention I was getting, 15 grams beans in, 15 out, VERY nice! Quiet operation as well compared to my old opus. The weight is very nice and using it feels like a dream. The adjustment is butter-smooth and extremely easy to dial in grinds. Highly recommend.
